Sunday Success Stories - add yours!
Calling all misfits and resalvaged souls! Eventing-A-Gogo is running a once-weekly column featuring a different success story every week, all submitted by readers. Every Sunday we highlight a reader’s own personal journey through overcoming adversity with their horses, sometimes against all odds, and the ups, downs, disasters, and triumphs they’ve experienced along the way. These stories are about those who never gave up on their four-legged friends, and who made a difference in the life of an animal who just needed a little love and care in order to turn around. If you have a great story you’d like to have featured, send your submissions, past or present, to
EventingAGogo@gmail.com! All appropriate stories WILL be published, so send away!

Hello,
I’m new to this and not sure about the means of contributing content. I had heard of a horse that was rescued from the owner of a junkyard and enjoyed a good life, a successful life after being retrained as a jumper. I developed the story into a historical fiction, “The Woman Who Loved Horses,” which was published in a Kindle eBook edition in July 2011.
The story features the three-day event at the 1948 London Olympics and is described more fully on my website http://www.horses-walters.com
